Welcome! I am so glad you are here.
My name is Liz and welcome to my little corner of the “world of blogs” as my dad calls it. I started about blogging 10 years ago when I moved from the PNW to California’s Bay Area to attend Santa Clara University. Go Broncos! Writing was a creative outlet and a way to keep family back home updated as I pursued my degree in Theater. The blog was called Adventures of a Wannabe Sungoddess and you can still check out some moderately embarrassing content from my 18 year old self there.
Fun fact: My favorite actives are shopping, reading, doing yoga, and watching reality TV with our rescue pup, Luna.
Now four years of college, four years of medical school, and a global pandemic later I have created a new home for my recipes, thoughts, and dog pictures. I hope this blog feels like catching up with a friend over a long lunch. No topics are off the table but food will be front and center because #foodislife
